Oiler Talks is a free virtual event being offered as part of our 24-Hour Day of Giving. Oiler Talks will focus on the unique student experiences from four different perspectives, available to you in a captivating virtual presentation.
Oiler Talks planned for this event:
- Sustainability Research Leads to Campus Improvements
Assistant Professor of Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management, Yanting Guo, Ph.D., will be joined by environmental sustainability students and UF’s Director of the Physical Plant, Orion Jones, to talk about how student-led research helped inform major campus sustainability updates on campus.
- Oiler Football Update
Coach Rob Keys will be joined by Oiler football players to talk about the program and their upcoming season.
- UF’s TeleHealth Center and College of Pharmacy
Debra Parker, Pharm.D., dean of the College of Pharmacy, will be joined by current pharmacy students in the TeleHealth Center to talk about how they’re helping the local community.
- Animal Science Research on the Fertility of the Aging Female
Brian Whitaker, Ph.D., will be joined by current animal science/pre-veterinary medicine students to talk about the research they’re conducting out at the farm and through lab work on main campus regarding the fertility of aging female animals.
